The British Wood Flooring Association (BWFA)

Contract Flooring Association (CFA)

The CFA was formed in 1974, by combining three smaller flooring associations. The aims of the CFA are to encourage high standards of safety, training and professionalism, while also providing important services and expertise to members; this is to ensure the quality and productivity of the members’ businesses.

The National Institute of Carpet & Floorlayers (NICF)

The NICF was founded in 1979, and was previously named the National Institute of Carpet Fitters. The NICF is a highly respected and recognised organisation in the flooring industry. The main objective of the NICF is to promote excellence in the industry of carpet fitting and flooring installation.
